Rule 34
Electoral Representative

(1) A candidate can appoint an election representative to do the work he has to do for the election work.
(2) A person must fulfill the following qualifications to be an election representative -
(a) Citizens of Nepal,
(b) having completed the age of twenty-one years,
(c) whose name is included in the final electoral roll prepared for the election of the relevant post,
(D) To go to read ordinary articles,
(e) Not disqualified under section 13 of the Act,
(f) not disqualified by other prevailing laws.
(3) The work, duties and rights of the election representative shall be as follows -
(a) Representing candidates in voting, counting or other election-related activities,
(b) To stamp as a candidate's representative on the various slips to be prepared during voting, counting of votes or other election-related work,
(c) To assist in conducting elections in a free, fair, credible and peaceful manner.
(4) In the event that an election representative has been appointed as per sub-rule (1), the candidate shall give information to the election officer as per schedule-22.
(5) The election officer shall give the identity card as per schedule-23 to the election representative.
